My Final Away Game

Well, made it to Logan with gear in tow. Fortunately, Abby dropped me off 5 min before a Birthright Israel trip of about 100 20-something’s showed up at check-in! I never got to take advantage of a Birthright experience when I was younger but in many ways this Maccabi Games experience is my Birthright, just older and with hockey sticks and pucks. Unlike those young kids, our hockey team has already bonded prior to our arrival in Israel with our training camp weekends. We are slowly all arriving in Israel right now from all over the US and becoming a collective unit again and furthering our bond. The goal of course is to end up with one common goal achieved after 2 weeks together! 🏅
